FREMONT, CA: Google is all set to take on the landmark naval base at Moffet Federal Airfield from NASA to build on their ambitious robotics and aviation projects. This historic federal property is managed by Ames Research Center. Spanning over 8 acres, the 200 feet tall edifice was originally built to house helium airships for the U.S. Navy and is known as Hangar One.
